Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Mayer Team in Norcross, GA. The role involves delivering products to customers and Rexel locations using a delivery van or box truck without a CDL.

You will inspect and maintain the vehicle, ensure accurate loading/unloading, and manage delivery documentation. Key responsibilities include DOT compliance, safe driving, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting branch operations and training peers as needed.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branch locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).
• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT and local/state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload materials and ensure order accuracy; assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signature, packing list, and manifest.
• Pick up material returns from customers and verify condition, quantities, and catalog numbers.
• Travel to offsite locations; participate in training and mentorship of entry-level drivers.
