Job description

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.

Local route Truck Drivers (CDL A or B)

are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving to various aircraft, and unloading the equipment. These drivers typically operate on local public roads outside of airports and terminals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Load equipment onto the truck.
  2. Drive the truck to the aircraft at the local airport.
  3. Load galleys according to customer guidelines.
  4. Unload dirty equipment and dispose of trash in designated areas.
  5. Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations during all activities.
  6. Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft.
  7. Follow directions and work as part of the Transportation team.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience:

Up to one-year experience preferred.

Technical Skills:
  • Current U.S. driver’s license.
  • CDL Class A or B required.
  • Some locations may require a Customs Seal from the airport authority.
Language / Communication Skills:

Ability to read and write to complete forms and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

Job Requirements:
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Overtime as needed.
  • Punctuality and adherence to company policies.
  • Complete paperwork and administrative duties.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures and noise.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
  • Work at heights up to 25 feet or more.
