Walden Local Meat Co. in Tewksbury, MA is seeking a Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver to safely operate a 14-foot delivery van and ensure monthly meat deliveries reach member homes on time.

You will load/unload, follow safety policies, work Monday–Friday, 5:00am start, 30–45 hours weekly, and enjoy benefits like 401k and health plans. Training is provided for candidates new to delivery roles.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience in home or commercial settings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the past 3 years.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs during deliveries.
• Comfort driving in varied weather conditions across New England.
• Consistent attendance and reliability for early-morning routes.
• Willingness to get hands dirty and perform loading/unloading.
• Experience driving or delivering in urban/suburban/rural routes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Safely drive a 14-foot delivery van on urban, suburban, and rural routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading the delivery van.
• Communicate with Logistics and Operations teams regularly.
• Comply with DOT and Walden safety policies and vehicle checks.
• Deliver monthly meat subscriptions to members’ homes per instructions.
• Collect previous month’s bags and return them to the warehouse for reuse.
• Answer basic customer service inquiries during home delivery.
• Complete pre-departure and end-of-route paperwork for maintenance needs.
• Keep the delivery van clean and clear trash daily.
• Coordinate on-the-fly delivery adjustments with the Member Experience team.
• Pitch in with warehouse tasks on non-delivery days.
