Job Summary:

Must reside in Metropolitan Davidson County, Tennessee or a county contiguous to it. At Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, we work to improve oral health through benefit plans, advocacy, and community support. We are one of the largest dental plan administrators in the country and part of the Delta Dental Plans Association, operating two of the largest dental networks nationwide.

Position Details:

Position Description:

Supports local data needs for TennCare by generating reports, assisting in reviews, and evaluating provider treatment patterns. Acts as a liaison between business and technology teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex business solutions supporting TennCare contract objectives. Provides expertise in provider post-utilization review, establishing benchmarks for procedures prone to provider fraud and abuse. Evaluates provider treatment patterns, generates regular reports, and communicates outcomes using visualization tools. Builds relationships with healthcare providers, addresses inquiries, and supports data analysis initiatives. May develop or modify data queries using SQL and supports local data needs with backup from the corporate office.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of data analysis experience. Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, SAS, Python, R, HTML/CSS, and understanding of healthcare standards preferred. Strong communication, data interpretation, project management skills, and knowledge of healthcare regulations are required. The company values diversity and equal opportunity employment.
