Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Southern Iowa is seeking a Reclaim Driver to operate gasoline or diesel trucks, transporting rendering products such as deceased livestock or materials in liquid or loose form. You will perform safety checks, load and unload, and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean MVR, and a current DOT physical, plus the ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must possess current valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR and DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Loads and unloads truck with and without assistance.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water.
