Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver for local overnight routes from Plainfield, IN. You will drive a Day Cab pulling 48′ and 53′ dry van trailers, delivering snacks to warehouses and customer locations within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safe loading/unloading with pallet jack and liftgate, and maintaining a strong safety record with on-time deliveries. Night schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM start, 11-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2–3 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Experience operating a Day Cab with 48′ and 53′ Dry Van trailers.
• Light-touch freight unloading with pallet jack and liftgate.
• Overnight Sunday-Thursday schedule.
• Strong safety record, dependable attendance, and professional customer service.
• Must pass required DOT pre-employment requirements.

• Local & Regional | Friday & Saturday Off
• Work Sunday-Thursday with a 9:00 PM start, averaging 11-hour shifts.
• Operate a Day Cab pulling 48′ and 53′ Dry Van trailers.
• Deliver snacks to warehouses and customer locations throughout the assigned territory.
• Perform light-touch freight, assisting with unloading at each stop using a pallet jack and liftgate.
• Safely complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Provide professional customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Experience operating a Day Cab with 48′ and 53′ Dry Van trailers.
• Comfortable performing light-touch freight and unloading with a pallet jack and liftgate.
• Able to work an overnight Sunday-Thursday schedule.
• Strong safety record, dependable attendance, and professional customer service skills.
