ThompsonGas is hiring a Propane Delivery Driver in Georgia to operate a propane bobtail, deliver to customers, and maintain safety and service standards. You will complete daily routes, perform inspections, and accurately record deliveries and tank readings using a tablet.

The role requires a CDL license with tanker and hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. On-call shifts including evenings/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license
• Valid Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physicals
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Availability to work on-call rotations including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily propane deliveries to local residential, commercial, and industrial customers
• Follow a pre-determined route and communicate any changes to the manager
• Record deliveries, meter readings, and tank percentages via Tablet
• Inspect vehicle daily and report maintenance needs
• Inspect, paint, and repair company tanks as needed
• Interact professionally with customers and respond to emergency delivery requests
• Adhere to DOT and state regulations for hazardous materials transportation
• Educate customers on safe propane handling practices
• Wear safety gear and report safety concerns promptly
