Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight and general commodities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; handle hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight as required.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading and collect signatures/receipts; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailer clean.
