Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Pneumatic Bulk Truck Driver based in Waterloo, IN to safely deliver cement powder and related products across rural and urban routes with a home-daily schedule. The role offers hourly pay of $28.36 plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year.

You will operate trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, manage logs, and handle delivery documents while enjoying a robust benefits package and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Required Skills/Abilities: Adaptable; Time-management; Organized and detail-oriented.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; CDL Class A; 2+ years driving; 2+ years dry bulk tanker; Knowledge of DOT rules and safe driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned trucks to transport and deliver products or materials.
• Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and phones for dispatch communications.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety.
• Complete daily DOT pre-trip inspections and maintain logs; submit accurate documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle; report issues to leadership.
• Manage trip-related receipts and expenses and ensure accurate documentation.
• Obtain and maintain delivery documentation; verify load tickets, bills of lading, and work orders.
• Drive to weigh stations to document weights and comply with state regulations.
• Occasionally perform flat bed deliveries when available.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions; ensure complete load-related documentation.

TBC is seeking an experienced Class A CDL PneumaticBulk Truck Driver, based out of our Waterloo, IN facility. The Bulk Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cement powder and other related products in both rural and urban environments in all weather conditions.

Here is some insight into what your day-to-day will entail:

• Drive company-owned trucks in a professional manner to transport and deliver products or other materials
• Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other drivers
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure safety as a priority
• Completes daily DOT pre-trip inspections and required logs. Submits and verifies accuracy of all documentation.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and routine maintenance checks of assigned vehicle. Reports issues, accidents, and damage to the leadership team.
• Maintains and submits all trip-related receipts and expenses.
• Obtains and maintains accurate delivery authorization and pickup documentation. Verifies shipment documents such as load tickets, bills of lading and work orders.
• Drive trucks to weigh stations when appropriate along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations
• Occasional flat bed deliveries when available

Delivery

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Adaptable: Able to anticipate and respond to unexpected situations (traffic, weather, road conditions, onsite restrictions).
• Time-management: Committed to timely deliveries and providing quality service to our customers.
• Organized and detail-oriented: Maintains accurate records for documents, gas cards, receipts, and load tickets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A required
• 2+ years of commercial truck driving experience
• 2+ years of dry bulk tanker experience
• Knowledge of applicable DOT rules and safe driving regulations
