Job summary

Techo-Bloc is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Bulk Truck Driver for our Waterloo, IN facility. You will safely deliver cement powder and related products, operate truck tech, and perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections daily.

This role offers hourly pay with weekly overtime, a robust vacation/sick time package, a 401k with company match, and a benefits program. Home daily with potential flatbed deliveries when available, within varying urban and rural routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A required.
• 2+ years of commercial truck driving experience.
• 2+ years of dry bulk tanker experience.
• Knowledge of applicable DOT rules and safe driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned trucks to transport and deliver products or other materials.
• Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure safety as a priority.
• Completes daily DOT pre-trip inspections and required logs. Submits and verifies accuracy of all documentation.
• Responsible for cleanliness, upkeep, and routine maintenance checks of assigned vehicle.
• Maintains and submits all trip-related receipts and expenses.
• Obtains and maintains accurate delivery authorization and pickup documentation.
• Verifies shipment documents such as load tickets, bills of lading and work orders.
• Drive trucks to weigh stations when appropriate along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations.
• Occasional flat bed deliveries when available.
• Delivery: Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew.
• Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.

TBC is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Bulk Truck Driver, based out of our Waterloo, IN facility. The Bulk Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cement powder and other related products in both rural and urban environments in all weather conditions.

Here is some insight into what your day-to-day will entail:

• Drive company-owned trucks in a professional manner to transport and deliver products or other materials
• Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other drivers
