Job summary

Sunset Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver responsible for delivering parts to customers, coordinating with the store, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

The role includes maintaining vehicle condition, assisting with inventory, and handling stock movements. Benefits begin after a 90-day probation, with 401(k), Aflac, PTO, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass our DMV check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test screening, including Marijuana.
• This is not a CDL driver's position; a valid license is required.
• Must be capable of lifting and moving parts up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use moving aids such as hand trucks, dollies, and hydraulic lifts.
• Must be able to bend or stoop to ground level shelves and reach upper shelves with a step stool or ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers who placed orders.
• Move between the store and customers during the shift; verify orders and pull items.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and complete a daily vehicle inspection checklist.
• Assist with inventory during downtime: count stock, restock, and manage returns.

Job Description

Your primary job would be delivering parts to customers who have placed orders. Going between the store and the customers throughout your shift. Checking for correct orders, pulling the orders, collecting signatures at deliveries. You will also maintain the cleanliness and fuel the vehicle. along with a daily vehicle inspection checklist.

Between deliveries, if there is down time you would help with inventory maintenance; counting stock, restocking and returns.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass our insurance DMV check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test screening, including Marijuana.
• You would be driving a company car or pick-up for deliveries.

This is not a CDL driver's position, just a valid driver's license is required.

• Must be capable of understanding and recognizing sequences of numbers and letters accurately.
• Must be capable of lifting and moving parts of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use moving aids designed to move heavier items including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
• Must be able to bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves, with use of step stool or ladder when necessary.

• After a 90-day probation period, full-time Sunset Auto Parts employees are eligible to enroll in insurance.
