Job Title: Driver Local Box Truck Route

Local NonCDL Route Driver Wanted

Requires Kansas Class C or Missouri Class E License

Mon - Fri, Routes start at 6am

Pay is: $19.50 + OT

Position Purpose:

The Route Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading service to clients while managing all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring all cargo is securely fastened before transport.

Key Job Activities:
  1. Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
  2. Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on the assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
  3. Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
  4. Operates company equipment safely and efficiently to minimize injury and equipment damage.
  5. Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.
  6. Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable.
  7. Maintains high security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and containers are securely locked.
  8. Services accounts using a handheld device, ensuring consoles are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of console/containers.
  9. Manages assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection and servicing of confidential materials.
  10. Handles customer problems and inquiries promptly, prioritizing customer and company interests.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:

Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience (North America & LATAM):
  1. 3+ years of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
  2. Current driver's license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
  3. May require immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements.
  4. English proficiency sufficient to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • Driver's License
  • Medical Examiners Certification
