Job summary

SRS Building Products, a division of SRS Distribution Inc., is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to deliver building materials to job sites in Erie, PA. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with responsibilities including pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and inventory handling.

The candidate will load and unload materials, operate forklifts as needed, and communicate effectively with management to resolve delivery issues. Local travel is primary, with occasional longer trips.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid non-CDL driver’s license and clean record.
• DOT Medical Certificate required for vehicles 10,001 lbs+.
• Experience with delivery driving and customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to job sites, following route plans and safety protocols.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Verify inventory and manage loading/unloading to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading; maintain material integrity.
• Provide on-site professional customer service and address questions efficiently.
