Job summary

Hajoca Corporation’s Hughes Supply unit seeks a Delivery Driver Non CDL in Buckeye, AZ. You will safely operate large delivery trucks, load and unload materials, verify docs, collect payments for cash sales, and assist customers at delivery sites. A clean driving record, valid license, and DOT physical are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.
• Have a driving record that meets company policy for Authorized Driver.
• Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting work and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in accordance with company rules and laws.
• Load and unload merchandise; secure loads and ensure safe unloading equipment.
• Review and verify shipping documents and directions for deliveries.
• Obtain signatures for delivered merchandise and collect cash for cash sales prior to release.
• Provide sales leads discovered during deliveries and assist customers at delivery sites.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment; report any mechanical issues to management.
• End-of-day vehicle inspections and secure keys as required; complete safety paperwork.
