Our compost collection services and network of facilities help thousands of homes, businesses, and municipalities in North Carolina, Georgia,and Ohio divert and compost over a million pounds of organic waste each month.
Pay starts at $22/ hr (up to $24 /hr, based on CDL status).
Weekly pay.
Shifts start at 3 am and end 9-10 hours later; Monday-Friday with an occasional rotating Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Drivers service 15-30 (local) commercial accounts per shift. Accounts include grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, universities, office parks, and similar.
Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Drivers collect 35- and 64-gallon roll carts containing food waste. Leave a clean, empty cart behind for each container collected. Leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
At the end of your route, return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload your truck.
Other Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver duties include pre- and post-trip safety/vehicle checks, weighing carts, recording cart weights, taking service notes, and maintaining a clean vehicle.
Experience with 26’ box trucks (or similarly sized vehicles).
Pass a DOT physical and criminal background check.
Operation of vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws. Commitment to safety.
Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Drivers are early risers, able to start shifts at 3 am, and have occasional Saturday availability.
Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Drivers desire a physically active working environment, and have a willingness to work outside in all elements.
Personal characteristics of a Local Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver: responsibility (comfortable working with autonomy and minimal oversight); strong communicator (committed to communicating regularly and constructively with your team) and adaptability.
