Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary: We seek a dedicated Patient Service Technician responsible for delivering and setting up equipment at patient locations, and educating patients/caregivers on safe use and maintenance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including use of protective equipment.
  2. Assist in resolving customer equipment issues, including emergency responses.
  3. Implement quality improvement programs to meet standards.
  4. Handle on-call responsibilities outside of regular hours.
  5. Report vehicle problems to ensure safe operation.
  6. Complete shipping documents for hazardous materials per company policy.
  7. Maintain accurate patient visit reports and logs.
  8. Deliver and educate patients on respiratory and HME equipment at home or office.
  9. Maintain knowledge of current products and regulations.
  10. Manage territory to meet service goals, delivering equipment and oxygen as required.
  11. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation such as invoices and work orders.
  12. Report hazards or incidents involving equipment.
  13. Work cooperatively with team members and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Travel:

Travel via company vehicle to patient homes for setup and delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with medical equipment (preferred).
  • One year related work experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
Skills and Competencies:
  • Mathematical skills, effective communication, confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and work independently or with a team.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift and carry equipment (up to 65 pounds).
  • Sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as required.
