Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Technician responsible for delivery and setup of equipment, and educating patients and caregivers on its safe use and maintenance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including use of protective equipment.
  2. Assist in resolving customer equipment issues during emergencies.
  3. Implement quality improvement programs to meet standards.
  4. Handle on-call responsibilities outside of regular hours.
  5. Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
  6. Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately.
  7. Deliver and educate on respiratory and HME equipment in homes or offices.
  8. Maintain knowledge of current products and regulations.
  9. Manage territory to meet service goals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  10. Maintain detailed records of deliveries and services.
  11. Report hazards or incidents promptly.
  12. Work cooperatively with team members and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Travel:

Travel via company vehicle to patient homes for setup and re-deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Experience with medical equipment, knowledge of medical terminology, and relevant work experience.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Mathematical skills, effective communication, confidentiality, multi-tasking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Technical skills for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift and carry equipment up to 65 pounds.
  • Stand, sit, walk, and perform physical tasks as required.
