Job summary

Milford is seeking a transportation worker to operate light duty trucks and trailers, delivering materials to inventory locations and job sites in Hobbs, NM. You will prepare cargo for transport, secure loads, and coordinate with team members to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle readiness, completing delivery paperwork, and complying with DOT regulations. Occasional overnight travel and extensive driving are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in transportation or related role, required.
• Obtain client-specific safety training provided by Milford within 2 months.
• Ability to provide H2S and PEC Certification and/or pass Milford course on onboarding.
• Ability to provide Forklift Certification and/or pass Milford course on onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Operates company owned light duty trucks and trailers to transport materials.
• Delivers materials to customer yards and jobsites, on schedule.
• Prepares materials for transport and loads equipment.
• Secures cargo and follows safe loading practices.
• Completes necessary delivery paperwork and DOT logs.
• Maintains DOT paperwork and communicates with team members.
• Schedules maintenance to ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Travel as required by business needs, including overnight stays.
