Job summary

ABC CONTRACTING LLC in Rocky Mount, NC is hiring a part-time Mail Carrier to join our logistics team. You will deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial locations with accuracy and customer care, keeping delivery records up to date.

The role runs 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, is a 1099 contract position, and we provide a vehicle and gas. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to lift heavy packages and walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner.
• Sort and organize mail for efficient delivery routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper handling of all items.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any delivery inquiries.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety and reliability.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery issues.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed during peak times.
