Job summary

C.R. England is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for local/regional routes in Colorado and Wyoming. You will deliver to Kroger stores on predictable routes with live unloads or drop-and-hook loads, and operate automatic transmission trucks.

The schedule is six days on, two days off, with nights/evenings/early mornings and no home trips with the truck kept at the yard. Candidates must be 21+, have 3+ months of CDL-A experience, and demonstrate a professional driving attitude with a strong safety

Responsibilities

• Deliver to Kroger stores across Colorado and Cheyenne, WY on predictable routes.
• Live unloads or drop-and-hook loads.
• Work 6 days on, then 2 days off with rotating nights/evenings/early mornings.
• Trucks run with automatic transmissions and stay at the Kroger facility when not in use.

Job description

Your shift starts at the Kroger Distribution Center in Aurora, CO, and ends with you back home the same day. On this dedicated fleet you deliver to King Soopers grocery stores throughout Colorado and to Cheyenne, WY, running the same stores on predictable routes.

Freight is no-touch: every load is a live unload or a drop and hook. You run 1-3 loads per day, and drivers average 1,700 miles and 13 stops weekly.

Schedule:

• Work 6 days, then two days off
• 24/7 operation with nights, evenings and early mornings
• No set start times
• Possible short mountain runs that still get you home daily

Equipment:

• Automatic transmissions
• Trucks stay parked at the Kroger facility

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
