Job summary

C.R. England in Colorado is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a local, home-daily route starting at the Kroger Distribution Center in Aurora. You’ll deliver to King Soopers stores across Colorado and Cheyenne, WY, with predictable routes and no-touch freight.

Work 6 days on, two days off, with 24/7 operation including nights and early mornings; no set start times; live unloads or drop and hook; 1–3 loads daily and about 1,700 miles weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Transportation to and from the yard as trucks cannot be taken home.
• Professional driving attitude and commitment to safety.

Job description

Your shift starts at the Kroger Distribution Center in Aurora, CO, and ends with you back home the same day. On this dedicated fleet you deliver to King Soopers grocery stores throughout Colorado and to Cheyenne, WY, running the same stores on predictable routes.

Freight is no-touch: every load is a live unload or a drop and hook. You run 1-3 loads per day, and drivers average 1,700 miles and 13 stops weekly.

Schedule:

• Work 6 days, then two days off
• 24/7 operation with nights, evenings and early mornings
• No set start times
• Possible short mountain runs that still get you home daily

Equipment:

• Automatic transmissions
• Trucks stay parked at the Kroger facility
