Local CDL-A Intermodal Transport Opportunity – Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN

Financial Outline & Incentives

• Earnings Range: Pull in an average of $80,000 to $85,000 a year, with new drivers averaging roughly $1,403 weekly straight out of the gate.
• Transition Bonus: A limited-time $5,000 sign-on bonus waiting for you.
• Activity & Mileage Pay: Base rates running $0.48 to $0.53 per mile, stacked with extra accessorial pay for drop-and-hooks ($32–$35), live unloads ($55), hazmat loads ($25), and refrigerated freight ($30).
• Exception & Hourly Pay: Covered pay for detention, breakdowns, rail delays, empty moves, safety training ($22/hr), and virtual courses ($20/hr).

Roster & Shift Configuration

• Shift Variations: Local schedules putting in about 50 hours a week (five 10-hour days), with optional extra shifts if you want to push for more miles. Choose the rhythm that fits you best:
• • Option A: Wed–Sun (17:00 start)
  • Option B: Sun–Thu (16:00 start)
  • Option C: Tue–Sat (17:30 start)
  • Option D: Mon–Fri (19:00 start)
  • Option E: Tue–Sat (19:00 start)
• Rest & Recovery: Guaranteed daily home time after every single shift.

Fleet Hardware & Freight Specs

• Equipment: Late-model automatic Freightliner day cabs equipped with modern safety tech (average fleet age is just 2.5 years). Note that slip seating is required depending on your start time, and trucks park at the Minneapolis office during off-hours.
• Cargo Operations: 100% intermodal container freight featuring a 50/50 split between drop-and-hooks and live loads, with about 5% reefer freight. Operating within a 200-mile radius around the St. Paul area.
