Velocity TruckingPros LLC in Salt Lake City is hiring a Local Intermodal Driver for day or night shifts. You’ll pull containers locally and return home daily, with a schedule that offers 55–70 hours a week and a comfortable home-time rhythm within a 150‑mile radius (Grantsville, Ogden, Bear River City).

Pay includes $15.00 per hour, plus $12.50 per stop, averaging $1,300–$1,700 weekly, with full healthcare, PTO, and 401(k) matching after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must live within 25 miles of Salt Lake City, UT (84104).
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A experience.
• Valid CDL-A and active DOT Medical Card; Hazmat preferred but not required.
• Solid driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive local intermodal routes within a 150-mile radius including Grantsville, Ogden, and Bear River City.
• Operate 55–70 hours per week with day or night shifts; home daily."
• Handle 100% no-touch freight with drop‑and‑hook, preloads, and live loads/unloads.
• Maintain safety, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and comply with all DOT regulations.
