This local intermodal position operates out of the San Bernardino yard, with slip-seat arrangements and automatic dispatch. Evening and weekend options may be available based on freight needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Hazmat endorsement may be required for applicable loads; confirm account requirements before applying.
• Must be comfortable with night driving and multiple daily loads.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated local intermodal operation.
• Haul containers secured on chassis.
• Approximately 3–6 loads per day.
• Routes throughout Inland Empire and Los Angeles area (San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, Riverside, etc.).
• Some runs travel north through the Grapevine toward Shafter and Lebec.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks remain at the San Bernardino yard.
• Routes assigned via an automatic dispatch system.
