Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to run local intermodal routes from the Buffalo rail yards. The role offers daily home time, evening starts, and opportunities for additional pay with occasional overnight stays due to freight or weather.

Expect about 1,750 miles weekly, with Monday–Friday shifts, start times around 5–6 PM, and 12-hour shifts. Canada freight is available for qualified drivers with the appropriate documents.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 60 days after orientation; costs may be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal routes from Buffalo rail yards.
• Approximately 1,750 miles per week.
• Local routes may require use of a sleeper truck.
• Overnight stays may occur due to weather or load conditions.
• Canada freight available only to qualified drivers with passport or enhanced license.
• Trucks cannot be taken home during time off.
