Join to apply for the Local Horse Van Driver - Ocala, FL role at Sallee Horse Vans.

We are seeking a driver with local and OTR driving experience to join our team in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate should have previous thoroughbred handling and hauling experience, a safe driving record, and live in Ocala or nearby. Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Availability to run OTR as needed and flexibility with schedule are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Transport Thoroughbreds to and from various locations in FL safely and punctually.
2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
3. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
4. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
5. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
6. Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
7. Run OTR during peak seasons as part of a team.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (Class A CDL preferred but not required).
• Experience in thoroughbred handling and hauling.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Availability to run OTR as needed.
