Hi-Way Paving, Inc. is seeking a local Heavy Haul CDL Driver to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on safely operating a low-boy trailer to transport heavy and oversized equipment between job sites, yards, and batch plants.

The ideal candidate has heavy haul experience and a strong emphasis on safety. When heavy haul work is not required, you will support operations by handling other equipment such as water trucks, vacuum trucks, dump trucks, and more.

Formación

• Heavy haul/low-boy trailer experience required.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Proven load securement skills per DOT standards.
• Safety-focused with ability to work in field environments.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a low-boy trailer to transport construction equipment.
• Move equipment between job sites, yard locations, and batch plant areas.
• Perform secure loading, unloading, and proper load tie-down procedures.
• Operate water trucks, vac trucks, dump trucks, and other equipment when needed.
• Assist with basic field tasks to keep operations moving.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and field teams for efficient equipment flow.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
