Imperative Logistics Group is seeking a Chicago-based fleet driver to safely operate a commercial truck for local pickups and deliveries to airports and customer sites. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, accurate records, and strong communication with dispatch.

You will load and unload cargo, maintain vehicle logs, perform basic inspections, and interact with customers daily. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid CDL, and at least three years of driving experience;

Competenze

• High School diploma.
• 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate a truck with 26,000+ lbs GVW.
• DOT safety standards knowledge.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass an MVR check.

Mansioni

• Load, unload, and transport cargo to and from customer locations and airports.
• Maintain driver logs and daily vehicle inspection reports per regulations.
• Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive instructions.
• Interact daily with customers and complete MAWB documentation as needed.
• Operate handheld device and emails to communicate shipment information.
