Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Certification
• FMCSA Registration
• A clean driving record (no hit & runs and no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months)
• Must be 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations
• Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory

Responsibilities

• Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Comply with federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and on-time deliveries.
• Load, unload, and organize orders, ensuring products are secured and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
• Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
• Double-check purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory.
• Support job site safety by reporting potential hazards.
• Take photos of all delivered products as required by company policy.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.
