Job summary

SRS is seeking a dependable merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store as an independent contractor. Work is on a gig basis with visits scheduled as-needed, and compensation is $15–$18 per visit, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.

Ideal candidates live nearby and are comfortable using a smartphone to report tasks. Pay is for a full hour even if the actual visit takes less time, and no mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented merchandiser.
• Independent contractor mindset; comfortable with 1099 gig work.
• Local to the store area and able to travel within 10–15 miles if needed.

Responsibilities

• Visit the store once per week as required by the client.
• Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting, restocking and updating signage.
• On other visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (about 20 minutes).
• Verify thermostat settings and report service with photos the same day.
