Job summary

Asphalt Specialists, Inc. is seeking local Class A CDL truck drivers with gravel train experience to haul aggregates such as sand, dirt and stone. The role requires a doubles endorsement, a clean MVR, and the ability to operate manual transmissions (13 or 18 speeds).

You must be willing to work Saturdays, overtime, and pass an MDOT physical and drug screen. Pay is based on experience with monthly incentives; local Michigan work offered year-round with stable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with a doubles endorsement.
• 1–2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Willing to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.
• Clean MVR with no more than two moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience with manual transmissions (13 or 18 speeds).
• Must have MDOT physical and pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Haul aggregates (sand, dirt, stone) using gravel trains.
• Operate tractor-trailer in a safe, compliant manner.
• Maintain vehicle to DOT and company standards; report issues promptly.
