Airdo Werwas, LLC is seeking an experienced corporate/transactional associate to join our dynamic national practice in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on governance matters, bylaws, contracts, and broad transactional work across nonprofit and local government sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience in corporate or transactional law, with demonstrated nonprofit/tax-exempt representation. In-person work is required, with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Qualificações

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in corporate or transactional law.
• Experience with nonprofit, religious, and tax-exempt clients preferred.
• Strong academic performance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In good standing with the Illinois bar.
• Strong research abilities.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work in person.

Responsabilidades

• Direct responsibility for advising clients on corporate governance matters, preparing bylaws and policies, and drafting and negotiating contracts and other transactions.
• Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency.
• Review client documents and draft case evaluations and status reports.
• Attend board meetings.
