The Department of Legislative Audit in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a qualified auditor/accounting professional to perform audits of local government entities in Sioux Falls, Dell Rapids, Beresford and Salem. This full-time, 40-hour weekly position offers a salary of $65,000-$67,500 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration and knowledge of GAAP/GAAS, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; other combinations may qualify if evaluated as equivalent.
• Not required to be a CPA; encouragement to pursue certifications such as CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA, CIDA.
