Waste Connections of Nebraska seeks a safety-conscious Local Route Driver to join our growing team in Norfolk, Nebraska.
We aim to develop our employees and will provide the truck and training to help advance your career as a CDL driver – we also pay for your CDL!
Pay range: $22 - $25 per hour + $7,500 stay-on bonus!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 am until route completion
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicle on designated routes
- Pick up and transport waste and recycling materials
- Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow safety regulations and company policies
- Complete daily vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report issues or concerns to management
