Job summary

DoorDash DashMart is a local-fulfillment center seeking a motivated team member for fast-paced, physical warehouse work. You'll receive and stock inventory, pick and pack orders, assist with light food prep, and help coordinate Runners/Dashers to pickup locations.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills, willing to learn, and a problem solver.
• Thrive within a team environment and handle a variety of duties.
• Experience in retail, customer service, food & beverage, administrative, healthcare or similar industries.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to delight customers.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Inventory receiving and management: receive and stock inventory, maintain quality and rotation.
• Pick, pack and sort: scan, pick, stage orders, and handoff to Dashers.
• Delight customers: communicate clearly with customers through the app for substitutions.
• Warehouse organization and safety: maintain safe environment and perform cleaning/tasks as assigned.
• Be a team player: contribute to a positive working environment and share ideas.
• Runner/Dasher coordination: guide Runners and Dashers to pickup locations, direct traffic.
• Food preparation: assist in light prep of hot or cold foods and pre-packaging.
