Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Driver to service a defined local territory, delivering refined fuels and propane. You will operate safely, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and use handheld delivery systems while maintaining professional customer relations.

Key requirements include a high school diploma, a valid license, and the ability to obtain a CDL with tanker/HAZMAT within 90 days. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and willingness to work a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to obtain Class A/B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Must pass MFA Oil Company road test and DOT requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Capable of rotating on-call, holidays, weekends, and after hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane to assigned customers on defined routes.
• Load and unload at terminals; maintain terminal access as needed.
• Safely operate vehicle per MFA policies and transportation laws.
• Use handheld devices to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Connect/disconnect fuel hoses at customer sites and stow properly.
• Identify safety or efficiency issues and communicate to management.
• Inspect customer installations and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Present MFA Oil Company professionally and maintain knowledge of products/services.
