Job summary

GFL in High Point, NC is seeking a local CDL driver to operate front-end loading trucks on commercial routes. You’ll start early, work full-time, and have overtime potential.

You will represent the brand to commercial partners, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatchers to solve route challenges while prioritizing safety.

A valid Class A or B CDL with a clean record, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience with front-load trucks or heavy vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to operate joystick controls and hydraulic lifts.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic forks to lift and empty containers.
• Navigate local commercial sites, business parks, and tight urban spaces.
• Represent the GFL brand to commercial partners with friendly, dependable service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and vehicle readiness.
• Communicate with dispatchers and operations to resolve route challenges.
