Job summary

SRS Merchandising is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store in Punta Gorda, FL. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible, as-needed gig scheduling.

The role involves weekly store visits, bi-weekly product changeouts, and on-demand restocking with thermostat checks. Reporting is done via a smartphone, with pay per visit and direct deposit bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable reporting tasks via smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Visit the store 1 time per week (based on client requirements).
• Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting the unit, restocking, and updating signage.
• On other visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (20 min. average).
• Verify thermostat settings are accurate per instructions.
• Report service via smartphone/device the same day, including required photos.
