Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking an Experienced Feed Driver in our Transportation division to independently transport feed and feed ingredients to customer locations, ensuring DOT and company compliance while delivering high‑quality service.

This is a local role; drivers are home for supper each night and will operate in a safety‑driven environment with strict documentation and logs. A valid CDL and a strong customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL as required for equipment/route.
• 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must meet age requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor and trailer to deliver non-hazardous materials to customer sites.
• Drive in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries; communicate clearly and resolve routine issues.
• Connect and disconnect trailers and perform loading/unloading activities per safety protocols.
• Complete required delivery documentation and maintain accurate logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Report accidents or incidents and model safety and compliance behaviors.
• Provide informal guidance to Associate Drivers on routes and safety practices.
• Share knowledge to support team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
