Job summary

CHS Inc. in Fairfax is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul feed and agronomy products to local customers. All routes are local, and drivers are home each night for supper. No CDL? CHS will help the right candidate obtain a CDL for the role.

As directed, carry out general labor responsibilities, load/unload, perform maintenance, ensure safety, and comply with all laws. CDL and DOT medical card preferred; High School diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English and meet minimum age requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain or obtain CDL and DOT medical card encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading and handle hoses and fittings.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs; operate heavy or light machinery as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections; record repairs.
• Deliver products to customer sites safely and on time, compliant with regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards to supervision.
