Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead local commercial and industrial projects in the Sacramento area. The role focuses on owning projects from contract through completion within a well-established local electrical contractor’s backlog.

You will coordinate with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors while managing budgets, schedules, and documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Local market focus and stability are emphasized in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience as Electrical Project Manager.
• Strong commercial/industrial electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to keep projects on schedule.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance.
• Attend project meetings and maintain customer relationships.
• Help resolve project issues and keep work moving forward.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
