Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a safety-focused dump truck driver to join our team in Texas. You will safely operate dump trucks, perform daily inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries to our customers and job sites.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a strong safety record, and reliable communication with dispatch. You will work on-site at quarry locations, maintaining vehicle readiness and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and a proven record of safe driving.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
• Excellent vision, hand-eye coordination, and physical fitness to perform all driving and maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication skills for working with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials within the quarry and to designated locations.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Plan routes, follow delivery schedules, and communicate proactively with dispatch and team members.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading, verifying delivery instructions and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Keep your truck clean and well-maintained, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Represent SRM with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service on every job.
