Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to deliver rock, sand, and gravel to customers and job sites in a reliable, on-time manner. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, plan routes with dispatch, maintain your truck, and represent SRM with professionalism on every delivery.

A valid Class B CDL, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Strong safety mindset and customer service.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials within the quarry and to designated locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Plan routes, follow delivery schedules, and communicate proactively with dispatch and team members.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading, verifying delivery instructions and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Keep your truck clean and well-maintained, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Represent SRM with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service on every job.
