Job description

We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver who will be responsible for the loading, transportation, and unloading of local grain and fertilizer using a hopper bottom trailer. $20-$25 per hour DOE

Candidate can be located up to 40 miles radius outside of our company location. D&H Trucking is a small family-owned Trucking Company out of Bridgewater, SD, that has been transporting ag products for 14 years. Call for more information or questions and ask for Darrin: 605.770.6141

Local hauling, home every night. Most hours are Monday - Friday, approx 6 am - 6 pm. Drivers may need to put in extra hours during seasonal busy times (spring and fall). Loads further away from home may occur occasionally, so applicants must be willing to be gone overnight once in a while. Typical working hours depend on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular, and include weekends and holidays during peak season.

Mechanical experience is a plus and is helpful in the shop.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Report mechanical issues and road incidents immediately to management
• Keep inside of cab clean and organized
• Wash outside of truck if time permits
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
• Refuel vehicle
• Log loads, miles, and hours daily
