Job summary

Stauffer Glove and Safety in Michigan City, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Driver to support shipping, receiving and order picking in our distribution center. The role includes local driving when the full-time driver is unavailable and requires accurate, timely fulfillment.

You will use a TMS for labels and documents, help with inventory accuracy, and operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. A High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.
• 1 year shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jacks.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receive truck and small carrier shipments into the system and store the product in its location.
• Fulfill and pick customer orders from company pick tickets and stage orders for shipping.
• Generate labels and shipping documents for all picked orders via the TMS.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Assist with inventory placement, identification, reconciliation and movement.
• Drive delivery vehicle when needed.
