Job Summary

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused individual to join our logistics team as a Local Driver. The Local Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a tractor and trailer to deliver freight accurately and on time, representing TForce Freight professionally to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling inquiries or concerns.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and issues.

Qualifications

• Customer service dedication
• Valid Class A CDL in resident state
• Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements
