Job summary

Claybourne Co. is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver for local routes in Southern California. Primary location is Perris, CA. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with daytime and possible evening shifts and overtime as needed.

The position offers a pay rate of $20.50–$21.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401(k) plan after 90 days, plus paid time off. Reports to the Director of Operations and Logistics Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• 3+ years of commercial Class C driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products into vehicle per company specs.
• Deliver/pick up orders on assigned routes promptly.
• Maintain communication with Logistics and Customer Service.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure needs are met.
• Provide professional customer service to dispensaries.
• Schedule typically 7 AM - 3:30 PM with flexible day/evening shifts; overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: $20.50 - $21.00/Hour

Primary Location: Perris, CA

Reports to: Director of Operations, Logistics Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pack and load products into vehicle according to company's specifications
• Deliver/Pick up orders to/from customers on assigned routes in a time effective manner
• Maintain ongoing communication with our Logistics and Customer Service department.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Be able to drive for extended amounts of time (Day shift and PM shifts)
• Be detail oriented
• Driving time typically ranges from 6-12 hours.
• Ensure all order paperwork is signed, completed
• Providing a high level of professional customer service to dispensaries
• Typical schedule 7 AM - 3:30 PM. However, must be able to maintain a flexible schedule. Daytime and evening shifts, overtime required as necessary in support of business operations

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid California State Driver's License (must pass MVR check and be able to meet Company insurability requirements)
• 3+ years of commercial Class C driving experience preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Punctual and persistent while maintaining a never give up, positive attitude
• Self-motivation and the ability to work well with others
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively various audiences
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time (while driving)
