Job summary

Turner Industries Group is seeking a Journeyman Dirt Equipment Operator for maintenance projects in the Houston area and surrounding regions. You will operate dirt-moving equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers and cranes, following load charts and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and successful completion of pre-employment tests and skill assessments. Local candidates are preferred as per diem is not offered.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• CDL may be required.
• Safety orientation and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates power-driven machinery to move dirt or other materials.
• May operate backhoe, bulldozer, crane, dragline, front-end loader, motor grader, or dump truck.
• Interprets load charts and adheres to safety regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance such as cleaning, greasing and oiling equipment.
