Delta Metals, Inc. in Savannah, GA is hiring a Delivery Driver to support local deliveries for our sheet metal and roofing projects. The role mixes shop labor with driving to job sites, requiring a clean driving record and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

You’ll join our logistics team, maintain vehicle safety, load and unload cargo, and help keep inventory organized. CDL Class A is preferred; the position requires overtime, weekends, and occasional emergency assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willing to perform manual labor at the shop when needed.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• 50% manual labor in the shop and 50% delivery driving to job sites.
• Ensure truck/trailer is maintained and in safe working order.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload cargo and secure with straps.
• Coordinate with yard manager for material locations.
• Work overtime, weekends and during emergencies as needed.
