Job Summary

All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops and are required to load packages onto hand trucks and unload product at each stop on the assigned route, as designated by the Transportation Department Manager. The driver will work away from OpCo (operating company) at a designated domiciled location closer to the customer marketplace. This is a customer-facing position similar to an operating company delivery driver. Responsibilities include cross-docking, picking up trucks from a nightly delivery at the assigned loading dock, and returning the empty truck to the lot at the route's end. Occasional assistance with loading trucks, palletizing products, and other duties may be required.

NO CDL, NO PROBLEM

All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops, loading packages onto hand trucks and unloading at each stop. The driver works away from OpCo at a designated location near the customer marketplace. Responsibilities include cross-docking, picking up trucks from nightly deliveries, and returning empty trucks. Assistance with loading trucks, palletizing, and other duties may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
  • Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated times.
  • Unload products from trailers, using hand carts if necessary, and place them in designated storage areas, often in all weather conditions.
  • Frequently lift, push, or move products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, and reach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets.
  • Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Communicate discrepancies, errors, or returns to management.
  • Report if a customer does not receive their entire order.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Properly handle company equipment, follow safety rules, and perform pre-trip inspections.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Organize trucks efficiently for deliveries.
  • Ensure trucks are operational before routes.
Qualifications
Education
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience
  • At least one year of route delivery experience or relevant driving background with a straight truck.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand English.

  • Operate vehicles in various traffic and weather conditions.
